Argosy USA is the US branch office of Argosy Research, Inc. (3217, Taiwan OTC). Under the System Business Unit (SBU) operation, Argosy USA provides sales and support services on Argosy branded products as well as OEM/ODM projects.

Founded in 1987, Argosy Research is committed to be a top-quality solution provider of leading edge storage and mobile technologies. Headquartered in Taiwan, Argosy Research has two business units and operates several offices in North America, Europe, Japan, and China.

Argosy’s latest products include a complete line of digital media players that allows user to playback digital contents on the TV without using a PC. The player can playback the content from internal HDD, USB storage devices, as well as streaming from network server, and internet. The solutions range from low-cost, easy-to-use basic player to networked device that can handle wide range of codecs, resolutions, and file formats. In addition, Argosy also offers surveillance products including DVR、IP Camera. Both hardware and software are modular-designed with flexibility suitable for different configurations, various applications and future expansion.

In 2009, Argosy merged Linktek, which has become the Component Business Unit under Argosy Research.  Linktek specializes in design and manufacturing of connectors used in computer, consumer electronic and mobile communication markets. Linktek also distributes HONDA high-precision connectors.
